Yummy Soap

What You’ll Need:

Everything you need is at your local craft store or your grocery store

o         Glycerin Melt n' Pour Soap - clear or creamy

o         Soap Mold - any shape

o        Ground Cinnamon - just a shake or two

o        Peanut Butter - 1/4 teaspoon

o        Ground Apricot Seeds - two pinches

o        Rubbing Alcohol in a spray bottle

o        glass measuring cup - Pyrex is good

o        Wire Whisk

o        Spoon or stick for stirring

o        Microwave

Step One: Get out your measuring cup. Add 1" cubes of soap (I used six to fill two small molds)

Step Two: Melt the soap in the Microwave in 10 second increments until it's full melted.

Step Three: stir with whisk or stick until smooth

Step Four: Add ingredients and whisk them together well until the soap looks medium brown

Step Five:  pour the soap into your molds

Step Six: Spray rubbing alcohol on soap very lightly to kill the air bubbles

Step Seven: let the mixture cool for at least 30 minutes until cold and hard

Step Eight: Using even pressure, push the soap out of the mold carefully

Step Nine: You are done.  Wrap it up and give it away or stick it in your shower and have at!

Passes the lather and smell test!

Important Notes:

  • DO NOT ACTUALLY EAT IT (SOAP IS NOT FOOD)

  • plan on using or giving it away soon after. I have heard that the PB can go bad, but I haven't experienced that yet.
