Materials:
Brown Sheep Lamb's Pride Worsted
1 skein Roasted Coffee (MC)
1 skein Limeade (CC1)
1 skein Lotus Pink (CC2)
US 8 Straight needles
Directions:
With MC, CO 16 st
Work in Seed Stitch for 8 rows
With CC1, work in ST st for 3 rows
With CC2, work in ST st for 2 rows
With CC1, ST st for 3 rows
With MC, ST st for 4 rows
Work in Seed st for 16 rows
Work in ST st for 4 rows
CC1 in ST st for 3 rows
CC2 in ST st for 2 rows
CC1 in ST st for 3 rows
MC in Seed st for 8 rows
Strap:
P3tog, P across to last 3 st, Slip Purlwise 3 times P3tog (12 st)
K3tog, K across to last 3 st, Slip Knitwise 3 times K3tog (8 st)
K2tog, K across to last 2 st, SSK (6 st)
K2tog, K across to last 2 st, SSK (4 st)
work in seed st for 1"
BO 4 st
Fold in half, WS facing and sew up seams
Closure:
Slip a large bead onto yarn or embroidery floss.
Attach to the RS at the end of the strap.
To make hole, spread the stitches and push bead through the WS of the front panel.
It might feel tight at first, but a buttonhole will reveal itself after a few push throughs.
